LCHS Takes 1, 2 & 3 At Big Springs Shooting Complex
The LCHS Shooting Team participated in the ATA/AIMS shoot in Christiana, TN June 8th , against 71 shooting athletes, in a warm up shoot for the upcoming State 
Competition.
The Junior Varsity squad competed in the Junior Division against other Varsity squads including the two LCHS Varsity Squads. The JV posted a squad score of 441 out of 500 clays shot, high enough to place 1st in their division.
JV individual scores were Connor Walters (93 out of 100), Logan Cowheard (93), Rhett Yates (91), Grant Counce (84), and Tanner Clark (80).
The Varsity Squad 1 scored 432 team, good enough for a 2nd place win, with individuals Bobby Benson (95), Ben Threet (92), Chase Kobeck (91), Ben Evers (84), and Austin Moore (70).
The Varsity 2 team posted a 417 team, placing them in 3rd, with individual scores of Ethan Wallace (94), JP Story (85), Derek Eaton (82), Jason Story (77), and Jackson 
Woods (79).
Bobby Benson was honored as High Scorer and Ethan Wallace 2nd Runner up in their division.
Bobby Benson, Ethan Wallace, and Ben Threet were also awarded their 25 Straight Patches for shooting a consecutive 25 clays without a miss during the competition.
The next team competition will be the Tennessee SCTP State Tournament, June 21-22, at the Nashville Gun Club.
